Directions from Shin Osaka station (Shinkansen terminal) or Umeda (Osaka) station
  1. From either Shin Osaka or Umeda stations, take the Midosuji subway line southbound to "Namba" station.

  2. At Namba station, follow signs to the "Nankai" train line which is on the upper level. The Nankai line has non-reserved seating. Purchase a ticket to "Sakai" station. Enter a train marked "express" or "airport express" and avoid those marked "local".

  3. At Sakai station, exit the express train and enter the next "local" train going in the same direction (southbound). Go two stops south to ISHIZUGAWA. Exit Ishizugawa station and take a taxi to DAP.

  4. For taxi, please tell the driver "Air Water"(formally "Daido Hoxan"). The trip is 5-10 minutes.

Directions from Kansai International Airport (KIX) to DA
  1. Exit terminal and walk to the train station.

  2. There are two train options: the "Nankai Rapit" train and the normal Nankai line train. (Do not take the JR line train.)
    2a) The Rapit is the faster train and has reserved seating. Purchase a ticket to "Sakai" station on the Rapit B "beta" train. (Do not take the Rapit A "alpha" train.) Proceed down to track level. There are two tracks - one has the "Rapit" train, which is a fancy blue train, and the other the normal Nankai line trains. Take the Rapit B to the first stop which is Sakai station.
    2b) The normal Nankai line is less expensive and has non-reserved seating. Puchase a ticket to "Sakai" station. Enter a train marked "express" and avoid those marked "local".
    Get off at Sakai station.

  3. Should you be staying at the Rihga Royal hotel, please note it is connected to Sakai station by a walkway. If proceeding to DAP, proceed to step 4.

  4. At Sakai station, move to the southbound platform which heads toward KIX airport or Wakayama. Take any "local" train (must be a "local") two stops south to ISHIZUGAWA. Exit Ishizugawa station and take a taxi to DAP.(See above.)
