Directions from Shin Osaka station (Shinkansen terminal) or
Umeda (Osaka) station
- From either Shin Osaka or Umeda stations, take the Midosuji subway line southbound to "Shinsaibashi" station.
- Get off at Shinsaibashi station and follow the signs to exit the subway at Exit #3. As you approach the final set of stairs exiting the subway you will see a sign for Exit #3 that points voth left and right. Follow the sign to the right and proceed up the stairs and out of the subway.
- When you exit the subway you will be facing Midosuji Avenue. Turn left and follow Midosuji Avenue to the North.
- Proceed along Midosuji Avenue for a 2-3 minute walk. You will cross two small streets. After crossing the second street you will soon come to a 12 story brick building on your left. This is the building housing the DAP office. The entrance is just past a sign for a business named "Cassina Inter-Decor". Cassina Inter-Decor and a company called Okamura will be on the first floor of this building. There is no sign in English with the name of the building or listing DAP as a tenant. DAP's name is provided in Japanese on the building registry. Enter the building and go to the elevators and proceed to the 6th floor to find the DAP office. The DAP office is in Suite F. There is a sign in English for the DAP office.
Directions from Kansai International Airport (KIX) to DAP New Head Office
- Exit terminal and follow signs to the train station. The train station is directly attached to the Airport Terminal building.
- There are two train options: the "Nankai Rapit" train and the normal Nankai line train. (Do not take the JR line train.)
2a) The Rapit is the faster train and has reserved seating. Purchase a ticket to "Namba" station, which is the last stop for the train. There is a Rapit A "alpha" and Rapit B "beta" train. Rapit A has fewer stops than Rapit B and takes less time. However, you will need check the schedule to see which train is next available. Purchase your tichet and proceed down to track level. There are two tracks - one has the "Rapit" train, which is a fancy blue train, and the other is for the normal Nankai line trains. Get off at "Namba" which is the last stop.
2b) The other option is the regular Nankai line train, which is less expensive and has non-reserved seating. If you choose this train, purchase a ticket to "Namba" station. Enter a train marked "express" and avoid those marked "local". Get off at Namba station which is again the last stop.
Get off at Namba station which is end of the line.
- At Namba station, follow the signs for subway and specifically the Midosuji Subway. Take the Midosuji subay line northbound to "Shinsaibashi" station.
- Get off at Shinsaibashi station and follow the signs to "Exit #3" to exit the subway at Exit #3.
